Enjoy an Amazing meal prepared by our Corporate Chef Chris Cooper. This is a classroom style seafood education and cooking class where Chris will take you through every step of how to make Caribbean Jerk Mahi Mahi, explaining the ingredients he chose and why.

About the product:
Mahi is a bountiful and beautiful pelagic species that is caught worldwide in subtropical offshore waters. Its bright green and yellow body speckled with iridescent blue dots make it one of the most beautiful and sought after fish in the ocean. The name Mahi-Mahi means “very strong” in the Hawaiian language probably referring to the way they fight when on a hook and line. This fish is also known as “Dorado” in many areas of the world. Mahi are known to grow and reproduce extremely fast which ranks them very high on sustainability charts. This fish is superior quality, texture, and color. Mahi is lean with a firm texture which makes it an excellent choice for grilling but can also be fried, sautéed, broiled or baked.

In the future we will have free Virtual tickets and paid in-person tickets for cooking classes. Right now we do not have virtual classes as a option or the ability to take online payments for in person tickets. Because of this we do have free in-person classes for the next few months so take advantage before we have to charge for the classes.

In person participants:

Each person that attends a in-person cooking class will receive a meal of whatever dish was prepared at the end of the class for you to try yourself. We will also give every participant a coupon to use in the retail stores! Keep an eye out for future classes! We will post 5 more classes by the end of this week and the in person class will fill up quick!

Chef Chris Cooper:

If we do not have enough seats reserved for the class we will have to cancel it. We are reserving seats until 12:00 thursday 9/16 the day of the class. If we have to cancel the class due to lack of participation we will give you a call by 1:00 PM.
